Comet Blaster 2

Comet Blaster 2 is the result of a college final project to improve upon an existing game.

Scripted entirely in Lua for the Love2D platform, Comet Blaster 2 is a continuation of the first Comet Blaster game. Scripted with Lua in the Love2D engine with sprites and art made in Photoshop. It features better movement and shooting mechanics, increasing difficulty, a local leaderboard, and powerups. 

W/A/S/D to move your ship around the screen, LMB to shoot in the direction of your mouse cursor, and Esc to close the game.
